Chords: Somebody's Heartbreak by Hunter Hayes
Time for another off-kilter choice for a songsheet! As a hopeless romantic at heart, I can't help but adore a really goddamn earnest love song - and few contemporary artists do earnest quite like Hunter Hayes. Somebody's Heartbreak is a pretty song that's easy to play, has some nice stops and starts, and lends itself well to just you and a uke.
Here's the songsheet, if you want to download the (simplified) chords to play yourself:

Below you'll find the obligatory imperfection project recording: one naked take with me and a uke into my phone. You can probably hear from my voice, but I'm holding back from really letting loose because the windows were open. A storm was raging while I was recording, so you can hear thunder right at the end.
Can you hear all the mistakes? I can too. But who cares?
Hilariously, my first take was rudely interrupted by the sky, and it was a much better take, too. Seriously, listen to this incredible thunder!
Damn, I do so love a storm though. I hope you have fun playing the song!
Love always,
Fay

Disclaimer: I did not write this song. It's not mine. I don't own any part of it. The original is far better than my scrappy little recording, and I highly recommend the Encore Edition of Hunter Hayes' self-titled first album, which this is from. Original song, right here:
